Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Chicago Downtown/River North

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Chicago Downtown/River North. From the seamless check-in process to the comfortable rooms and top-notch facilities, everything was beyond our expectations. The complimentary breakfast was a great start to each day, and the hotel’s location couldn’t be better….right in the heart of downtown, with easy access to all major attractions. A huge thank you to “Fannie”, who made our mornings extra special. She greeted every guest with warmth, offered helpful advice on local sightseeing, public transport, and safety tips, and made us feel like we were truly valued. Her friendly, accommodating nature made a big difference in our stay. If the hotel management is reading this, Fannie definitely deserves a huge appreciation or a raise, whatever helps her continue doing this outstanding work. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chicago. The service and attention to detail were exceptional!

We stayed at this location from Friday to Monday, this past weekend. Our first morning there, we met Javier and Fannie at breakfast and let me tell you, they are absolutely wonderful. They asked us if we needed anything and would take our garbage. They were also extremely pleasant to talk to. We had such great conversations! I told them that my family and I will definitely be back to see them. Their kindness and appreciation for their work does not go unnoticed. I also have to say that the food options were amazing. There were no complaints at all on any of the days. I want to shout out Jose, from front desk, as well. He was so great with helping us get our new room after we needed to rebook due to our flight cancellation. There was another young lady whose name we did nit get but she was also such a great help. This hotel was fantastic to stay at and we will be coming back for sure.

This hotel is in a great location with many local shops and dining near by, and public transportation a short walk away. The rooms were clean, and housekeeping was so kind in offering to clean the room each day I was here. Besides this, staff were amazing. I was always greeted and felt genuinely welcomed. The best and most welcoming staff I interacted with was Javier and Fannie who maintained the breakfast area. They were incredibly kind and warm and were super helpful with anything I needed. It is evident that Javier and Fannie care very much about their work and the guests that come through. If I return to Chicago for work or leisure again, I would definitely stay here.

The rooms and service were excellent. The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend if you’re visiting the city. My favorite part of the hotel were the two kitchen staffers, Javier and Fannie. They were so warm and welcoming every morning when we came down to eat breakfast. I looked forward to chatting with them more than anything! They made our trip so memorable. Javier and Fannie, thank you so much, Happy Holidays!

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect - room quality, service, and location. The service at this hotel truly stood out, starting from the moment I arrived. The gentleman at the front desk (unfortunately, I didn't catch his name) was professional, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. He made check-in smooth and took the time to provide helpful recommendations about the area. His friendly demeanor set a positive tone for the entire stay. I also want to give special recognition to Fannie, who works in the breakfast area. Her warm smile and attentive service made every morning special. She went above and beyond to ensure guests were well taken care of, always greeting everyone with genuine kindness and making sure the breakfast area was welcoming and well-stocked. It's employees like Fannie and the front desk gentleman who turn a good hotel stay into a memorable one. Their dedication and hospitality exemplify the kind of excellent service this hotel consistently provides.

Amazing place to stay!!! The location couldn’t be better, literally perfect! Everything is super close and convenient. The entire staff is incredibly kind, they truly make you feel at home. Huge thanks to Javier and Fannie for being absolute stars! Their kindness and service made our stay even better. And the breakfast? Always delicious! We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Incredible hotel at an amazing price. Rooms were very clean. The location was very central and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Javier and Fannie were super warm and helpful during breakfast and we were very happy with our experience! Thank you!

Excellent hotel in a very convenient location. Highly recommend this place as the customer service here is top notch. The included breakfast was amazing as well - Fannie went out of her way to help us everyday we stayed here. Will come back here again - 10/10
